RED Noses popped up everywhere throughout Dumbarton and the Vale on Friday as youngsters and adults participated in a variety of activities for the major Comic Relief charity fundraising event.

Burgh-based Your Radio and ASDA organised a charity jobswap on Friday for Red Nose Day when presenters Dave Ross (trolley boy), Gavin Wallace (checkout runner), George Aitchison (George Department) swapped their microphones for a day of hard work in the supermarket, raising £1,500.

And there were more Red Noses when pupils at Christie Park Primary, Alexandria, held a Bring ‘n’ Buy sale.

Staff at Greggs dressed up in pyjamas and asked shoppers to donate towards the national fundraiser, which raised more than £40m.
