More than £160 of prizes up for grabs

IT’S here again folks — the Dumbarton and Vale of Leven Reporter's Pet Idol competition — and if you have a picture of your pet, you can enter and be in with a chance of winning £160 worth of prizes.

And if that wasn’t enough, you will have the possibility of having your pet crowned Pet Idol 2007.

Every pet owner thinks their fishy, furry or feathered friend is the top dog, and now the Reporter is giving you the chance to prove it with our FREE Pet Idol contest.

The competition is open to every type of animal under the sun — if it was on Noah's Ark, it is eligible, be it poodle or piranha, goat or gecko.

And if our readers think it is the bee's knees, you could walk away with a fantastic prize.

We've teamed up with our friends at Ryan's Pet Centre in Dumbarton to offer a grand prize of £100 in vouchers.

In addition, Photo Ecosse have offered our first place winner a pet portrait package — including a framed print — worth around £60. The winner will have their portrait taken at the firm's new, bigger High Street shop.

Two runners up will receive vouchers worth £20 to spend in Ryan's Pet Centre.

To enter, just send in a snap of your pet — that’s it — it couldn’t be easier.

Winner will be the pet with the most votes.

Send your pictures with your name, address, daytime telephone number and pet details to Dumbarton Reporter (clearly marked PET IDOL COMPETITION), 88 Dumbarton Road, Clydebank, G81 1UG or email a jpeg to editorial@dumbartonreporter.co.uk — don’t delay, enter today. Editor’s decision is final.
