Man dies after A82 smash
A MAN who died following an early morning smash involving a van on the A82 has been named.
Miroslaw Jednorog, 31, died following the collision near Luss at around 6.20am on Sunday (July 27).
A second man, aged 30 - who has not been named - is also in a critical condition in hospital following the incident.
It is believed the van was driving in a southern direction when it lost control and overturned.
When the emergency services arrived at the scene, Mr Jednorog - a Polish national who had been staying temporarily at Fort Augustus - was pronounced dead at the scene.
The six other passengers in the van were not seriously injured and no other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the crash.
The section of the A82 road at Luss was shut in both directions for seven hours and diversions were put in place while the accident was cleared.
