A £10,000 reward has been promised to those who help nail the Alexandria bank robbers.
And the detective inspector leading the hunt for the three raiders is confident there are people in the town with vital information who have not yet come forward.
The armed thieves made off with a five-figure sum of cash from the Bank of Scotland on Main Street.
At the time of the robbery security guards were attempting to refill the cash machine and were threatened with knives.
Detective Superintendent Michael Orr of Strathclyde Police is leading inquiries into a number of raids across the Strathclyde area in the past three months.
Amongst these are three Bank of Scotland robberies, including the raid in Alexandria.
Detective Superintendent Orr said: “I would like to re-iterate that we are continuing to carry out extensive enquiries in relation to these three crimes.
“We will use as many force resources as required, including firearms officers, with the absolute determination of bringing those responsible to justice.
“I am in no doubt that there are still people out there with vital information.”
The Reporter spoke to one eye witness from the raid on September 2.
She said: “It went so fast — I turned around to one of the girls that works in here and she phoned the police.
“I didn’t see anyone going into the bank because we tried to phone the police.”
A glass window surrounding one of the cash machines at the bank was smashed — which may have provided an entry point for the robbers.
The three men are described as being around 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall — two of the men were dressed in black, and the third was wearing a white T-shirt.
Anyone with information should contact Alexandria police office on 01389 823 000.
