A COUPLE of ghosthunters will show no fear when they tackle a haunted castle next month.

Simon Barras and Lyndsay McCann will set about their spooky task in aid of Sense Scotland.

They signed up for the challenge after attending a training centre that Simon’s brother Andrew attends to cope with epilepsy.

And the hair-raisng event has been made even more appealing as it will raise awareness of the charity.

Lyndsay told the Reporter: “We watch Most Haunted and when we heard about the ghost hunt it was something that appealed to me and then I managed to rope Simon into doing it.”

The couple will head off for their eerie day out in November.

Lyndsay and Simon, from Balloch, have never done anything like this before.

Lyndsay admits the trip to the haunted Mains Castle in Dundee will be a spine-chilling experience.

She said: “I’m going to be more scared than I think, it is easy to be brave sitting watching stuff like that on the telly but when it is there right in front of you I think it will be scary.

“Simon is saying he won’t be scared but I think he will he’s just trying to be tough.”
