SEASON TICKET MILESTONE

DUMBARTON FC vice-chairman Colin Hosie announced last week that Sons supporter Colin Munro had bought the 250th season ticket for the 2007/8 campaign.
Season ticket sales have been co-ordinated this summer by the Sons Supporters Trust, and to mark the milestone sale Trust chair Denise Currie presented a bottle of Ballantine’s Whisky to Colin Munro before last Tuesday’s Trust board meeting.
Said Sonstrust secretary Alan Findlay: `We introduced an early renewal discount scheme, and this has really paid off.`
Over 270 season tickets have been snapped up already, and those wishing to renew are urged by administrator Rowan Scott to do so as soon as possible.
