A royal engagement for the finalists in the RHS Chelsea Florist of the Year competitio
The Florist of the Year finals, held at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, are set to be quite a challenge this year, with finalists tasked with creating a floral chandelier inspired by the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
The RHS Chelsea Flower Show, held from from May 22nd to 26th, will see the qualifying florists design, build and arrange a spectacular chandelier of flowers to be hung at Queens Jubilee dinner event.
Two days before the show on May 20th, the finalists will be setting up their individual designs ready for the main event and judged by The UK Floristry Judges Guild on behalf of the RHS. This year's theme is 'Diamonds are Forever' and finalists, among whom some Interflora florists, will have to create the chandelier itself and arrange their floral designs around it, all whilst keeping the flowers and plants as the main focus of the piece.
Each finalist has already produced a unique arrangement for the qualifying heats, which took place last year, including Interflora florists across the UK; a number of which are now in the final competition.
The floristry exhibits at the Chelsea Flower Show will be in the running to win Gold, Silver-Gilt, Silver and Bronze RHS medals, as well as receive that amazing chance to present their creation at the Queen's Jubilee dinner celebration.
Every day expert Interflora florists in Glasgow, Paisley and Clydebank are arranging flowers to deliver thoughts, emotions and best wishes in style. Interflora flower delivery sends fresh flowers across the UK all year round with the utmost care.
