Boston hotels that are perfect for your stay

Boston has played a pivotal role in America's history and today, this city is popular with holidaymakers keen to explore New England's capital.

It’s famous as the home of Harvard, and as the birthplace of America's famed blue blooded families, but is also the finest sporting city in the States.

The city's status as a major university town, and also as a popular tourist destination for both American and worldwide visitors, means there is a good selection of Boston hotels to choose from that will suit every budget and so finding

overnight accommodation in Boston is easy.

Boston is an excellent city for exploring because its centre is compact, and all the major attractions are within walking distance. So, regardless of which part of town you find accommodation in, you are never far from the heart of the action.

In fact, walking is essential for following the Freedom Trail; a two-mile, red-brick road that meanders through Boston past all the landmarks that played a significant role in the city’s participation in the War of Independence.

Then, there's Beacon Hill, the city's most historic neighbourhood filled with magnificent townhouses and top-class stores.

Even those with no interest in sports will be impressed by Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox, and the oldest pro baseball park in the States. Ball playing of a different kind can be seen at the TD Garden where both the Boston Celtics, basketball’s most renowned side, and the ice hockey team, the Boston Bruins play.

Harvard, the Ivy League university that has educated presidents, captains of industry and the Hollywood A-list for generations, is a must-visit for its famous square and museums.

Boston is an excellent destination whether you're visiting for a weekend or a week and the choice of Boston hotels will provide you with the ideal base for your stay.
