The relocation and construction of the centre has taken four months Visitors travelled from as far as Cheshire and the Isle of Skye to join in the celebrations which included the official opening by BBC television presenter, Paul Murton and live music from Clann An Drumma.

Stewart Robertson, Centre director, said:“The grand opening was the culmination of a lot of hard work put in by a great many people.

“The atmosphere was amazing and to see so many new friends and long term supporters there to celebrate with us was quite overwhelming.

“Although it was an emotional day, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and was full of praise and enthusiasm for the new Centre. That makes the effort all worthwhile”.
