Six new polling stations will be in place for next month's election.

Voters heading to the polling stations to cast their vote for a Dumbarton constituency candidate are being encouraged to check their polling cards.

Voters who use Dalmonach Community Centre in Bonhill, and West Bridgend Community Centre, in Dumbarton will use mobile polling stations at the same locations. Voters who used the former Highdykes Primary School in Bonhill, will now use Bonhill Community Centre in Ladyton.

Clydebank and Milngavie Constituency voters who previously used the Bearsden Burgh Hall, Drymen Road, Bearsden will now use All Saints Church Hall, Drymen Road, Bearsden.

Helensburgh voters whose polling station was the former Marriage Room, 25 West King Street, will now vote in Helensburgh Parish Church Hall, Colquhoun Street, and residents who previously used the RN Churchill Family Centre, in Helensburgh will now use the Drumfork Centre Annexe in Churchill Square.

Peter Hessett, Strategic Lead Regulatory Services, said: “These essential changes to the polling stations are mainly due to the existing stations being out of commission.”
