THERE were lots of happy faces at Loch Lomond Shores as families took part in a number of scheduled activities over the school holidays.

The popular Drakes of Hazard dog and duck show returned for packed performances over two dates, as well as Big Kid Circus entertaining the crowds for a string of six days.

Arts and crafts, magic shows, biscuit-decorating and face painting were also part of the two weeks of activity.

As well as returning favourites, some new activities were part of the line-up, such as The Regal Storytellers and a balloon-modelling masterclass from Rainbow Twisters.

Iron Man and Captain America look-alikes also made an appearance, just in time for the release of the new Captain America film.

Sammy Sankey, Rainbow Twisters’ owner, said: "It has been a terrific Easter holiday with something on for the kids every single day!

"We've had so much fun, especially with our first and very busy balloon making masterclass which we hope to run again over the summer.

"Thank you so much to everyone who came out! It was so good seeing so many new and familiar faces!"

Stuart Williams, Marketing Assistant, said: "I think this has been our biggest line-up ever of activities for families over the school holidays, with something on every day.

"We’ve loved seeing so many happy faces on site and we hope people have enjoyed their visit. There’s plenty more lined up for the coming months."
