POLICE are urging the public for help in identifying two youths who subjected a shopkeeper in the Vale to racial abuse.
The man was working within a shop in Main Street in Alexandria on Friday, May 13 when the incident is reported to have taken place.
Police Scotland were called to attend the shop at around 10.40pm but the youths had made off before they arrived.
Enquiries into the matter continue and local CCTV footage is being examined in a bid to trace those responsible but at the moment there are no descriptions of the two youths.
Anyone with information is being urged to contact Alexandria Police Station or call either the non-emergency 101 number.
The public can also call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which can be done anonymously.
