Emergency services are at the scene of a fire in Bonhill.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Police Scotland officers and crew from the Scottish Ambulance Service have been called out to the ongoing incident in Burns Street Lane.
An update is expected imminently from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
At this time it is not known how many houses are affected by the fire, but it is understood to be around four properties.
UPDATE, Friday, 3.30pm: A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We received the first of several emergency 999 calls reporting a fire in Burns Street Lane, Bonhill, at around 2.40pm.
"Crews were sent from Dumbarton, Bonhill and Clydebank.
"They are working to extinguish a fire in a two-storey building."
