Scottish Water are carrying out a valve repair
SCOTTISH Water has closed a section of the A82 Stirling Road in Dumbarton this morning (Thursday) to enable them to repair a valve on the water network.
A short section of the nearside lane of the north-bound carriageway has been closed near the Lomond Cars Centre since 9.30am.
The road traffic management has been timed for after the peak morning traffic period in order to minimise any impact on traffic flow.
A spokesman for Scottsh Water said: "We will do everything we can to complete our work and lift the road traffic management as quickly as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience to road users and thank them for their patience and understanding."
