SENTENCE was further deferred on a Vale man who caused a disturbance on a train, threatened a woman and her.
Darren Gordon, 32, who lives at Lamont Crescent in Renton, failed to appear when the matter called at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on June 21.
Gordon was travelling on the train which was at Singer Rail Station in Clydebank on March 19 last year when the incident took place.
The train was travelling towards Dumbarton Central when he behaved in an aggressive manner, shouted and swore at the woman and repeatedly made threats towards her and pushed her on the body.
Sheriff William Gallacher was told by Gordon's solicitor that he had been remanded in custody the day before and had not been brought from prison for the court appearance.
The sheriff deferred the matter until July 20 to allow the accused to appear personally and called for a criminal justice social work report to be prepared.
