Man charged following helicopter search near Dumbarton Central
A MAN has been charged in connection with two recent alleged robberies in Dumbarton.
The 34-year-old was arrested last night after a police helicopter took flight yesterday morning to search for an alleged thief near Dumbarton Central train station.
Police say a man wielding a screwdriver approached a woman and stole an item from her. The woman was not harmed and received no medical attention.
He was also arrested in connection with an alleged robbery that took place in Dumbarton on July 12.
He is scheduled to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court.
