TRAFFIC chaos plagued commuters during rush hour yesterday (August 25) following an accident on the Erskine Bridge.
Cars were at a standstill and drivers were delayed for several hours as a result of the collision.
This was caused by a three car smash on the M8 westbound near junction 30.
Nobody was hurt as a result of the crash however the cars involved were badly damaged.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police were called on Thursday, August 25 at 4.15pm to a report of a three-vehicle crash on the M8 westbound near junction 30 on the Erskine bridge.
"There were no reports of serious injuries and the carriage way was closed and opened shortly after."
