WITH temperatures plunging below zero, Barnardo’s Scotland shops are putting out their winter woollies and chill busting accessories to keep the communities warm and toasty without breaking the bank- in their stores at Alexandria and Milngavie.

The children’s charity is predicting a surge in demand for winter clothing as the season finally changes with men’s, women’s and children’s winter clothing being snapped up by bargain-hungry shoppers.

As such they have put together a range of winter clothing to suit all tastes.

William Farrell, Area Business Manager, said: "Our shops are a great place to find everything you need as the mercury drops, especially winter woollies, coats, jumpers, gloves, scarves and hats which will fly off the shelves as we all swap our wardrobes over."

William added: "As well as encouraging shoppers to come in and see our winter range, we are also appealing to the community to raid their cupboards and wardrobes to help replenish our stocks.

"We’re particularly in need of men’s winter woollies and jackets."

All profits raised in your local Barnardo’s Scotland shops are used to help transform the lives of Scotland’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people.

Shoppers can also buy household goods, books, toys, children’s clothes and accessories as well as men’s and ladies’ clothing, and look out for our Christmas cards and wrapping paper on sale in Barnardo’s shops across Scotland.
