A CHARITY is offering free information talks to Helensburgh community and social groups in a bid to raise awareness about deafness or hearing loss.
Action on Hearing Loss Scotland is offering free information talks to raise awareness about how hearing loss impacts on people's lives and the range of support that is available.
The charity's speakers can also provide tips about the best way to meet the individual communication needs of people as well as assistive equipment which can make everyday life much easier.
Action on Hearing Loss Scotland’s Malaika Rose, said: “We’d be delighted to speak with community groups across Helensburgh throughout 2017 to raise vital deaf awareness and help improve the ways their members communicate with friends, neighbours or visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing.”
