Bonhill athlete Maurice Donohue completed his 200th 10k in 200 consecutive days on Saturday.

Donohue, who has previously completed other events such as 52 half marathons in a year and taking on the Ice Marathon challenge in Mongolia.

Lachie Stewart, who picked up the gold medal at the 1970 commonwealth games and Scottish Sports Hall of Fame member started the event, which took place in Balloch.

Donohue said: "Thanks to everyone who came along to the Balloch Run'n'Park this morning for the 2k, 5k and 10k.

"Thanks also to GSI events from providing goody bags and water , Polaroid for providing medals , West Dunbartonshire Council Greenspace Team and Bob Burness for their assistance.

"That was 10k number 200 in 200 consecutive days , so only 165 to go as part of my 365 10k Challenge."
