THOUSANDS of visitors wrapped up warm last weekend, but still ended up Frozen at Loch Lomond Shores.

A Frozen-themed family weekend took place at the visitor attraction on Saturday and Sunday February 11 and 12. Thankfully, no one caught a chill as everyone was too busy singing and dancing along to Elsa, Anna and Olaf look-a-like mascots.

The event was organised by the team at Thomsons Funfairs, and John Thomson said: “It was a great weekend. Having lots of nieces and nephews myself, I just knew that a Frozen event would be a star attraction.”

The Frozen weekend is one of many themed weekends to take place at the shores and the staff look forward to bringing more to visitors over the coming months.

Loch Lomond Shores general manager Clare Gemmell added: “The Frozen themed event was a great success, and although it really was a “frozen” weekend everyone had a brilliant time singing and dancing along to the shows.”

As well as character appearances, there were also funfair rides – including a family-friendly rollercoaster – and face painting to keep families entertained.
