The assault took place at the job centre in Dumbarton on April 20
A 44-year-old man sustained head injuries after he was seriously assaulted by two men at the job centre in Dumbarton yesterday.
Police report the attacked happened at around 1.42pm on Thursday, April 20 at the Meadowbank Street job centre.
The victim was taken to hospital following the assault and he required required stitches to his head. He was later released.
CID are continuing enquiries to trace the suspects. If you have any information, please call police on 101.
A spokeswoman for the Department of Work and Pensions confirmed that emergency services attended an incident outside the Jobcentre and that the matter was now being handled by Police Scotland.
