Dumbarton ward
Brian Walker
(Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party)
AS someone who has lived in this area all my life, I feel I am well equipped to fight for what local people want. I care passionately about this area and if elected, will be a diligent and hard-working councillor.
I pledge to campaign on the issues that people have told myself that are important too, such as: cracking down on anti-social behaviour; investing in our roads and pavements to repair the potholes; caring for the most vulnerable in our society and improving standards in our schools to give local young people the best start in life.
There are currently no Conservatives represented on the council. I want to change that. We are all tired of the spats between Labour and the SNP. It’s time for the council to get to grips with our problems. I want to be part of the team that will transform West Dunbartonshire and fulfil our potential.
