POWER tools more than £5,000 have been stolen from a business in Alexandria.

The Reporter can reveal that police are investigating the theft which took place between 7.30am on Wednesday, May 17 and 7.40am on Thursday.

The incident took place at a caravan and at storage facility on Wilson St, Alexandria.

It's understood that a number of vehicles were broken into and power tools with a value in excess of £5,000 were

stolen.
