SONSTRUST have organised a mouthwatering evening of great food and comedy later this summer.

The organisation is hosting a Comedy and Curry night at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium on Saturday, July 8.

There's a side order of laughs in store too, as there's a great line-up of comedians lined up.

A Sons Trust spokesman said: "What an evening of entertainment we have lined up for the evening of Saturday, July 8.

"It'll be a night of great food and even greater laughs with a stellar line-up from the cream of Scotland’s comedy talent – all playing at the home of Scotland’s original Champions – Dumbarton FC."

Booked to appear is Gary Little, who is a master story teller who runs rings round his comedy peers and is labelled a ‘born raconteur.’

And prepare to laugh yourself silly as there's Susie McCabe, a naturally funny storyteller and a genuine stand-up.

Also appearing is Rosco McClelland, Scottish Comedian of The Year 2016 whose animated onstage presence will no doubt prompt continuous laughter from the audience.

In addition, there's MC John Gavin, Scottish Comedian of The Year 2009 and So You Think You’re Funny? finalist.

The night will be rounded off nicely with a curry, rice and popadoms.

All proceeds from the night will be donated to Dumbarton FC to help secure a place in the Championship for an amazing 7th season.

And, of course, non-Sons fans are welcome too!
