A YOUNGSTER has been taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle near to Our Lady and St Patrick's High School, Dumbarton.
It's understood they were involved in an accident at around 1.05pm this afternoon, promoting a response from the emergency services.
Their present condition is not known at this time.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 1306 hours today to attend a road traffic collision and we dispatched one ambulance to the scene.
“One young adult was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.”
It's understood the incident took place at the back of Valeview Terrace.
