A GROUP of men had to be rescued from Loch Lomond waters after the boat they were on capsized.

According to Police Scotland, five men left Lomond Shores on two boats heading towards Inchmurrin Island at around 11.15am on March 30.

On approach, one boat capsized with three persons on board. National Park Rangers, Luss Rescue Boat, Police Scotland and the ambulance service attended the scene. The three men in the boat were rescued and taken to the banks of Cameron House where they were treated by ambulance crew.

They were taken to Royal Alexandria Hospital for observation, however all the men have recovered.
