The digital age has brought with it so many benefits, but technology can also be daunting.

So for those looking to expand on their computer skills, West Dunbartonshire libraries are offering just the thing for library members with some free computer training courses with the Quest Spring Programme, starting on Monday, April 23.

The courses are ideal for beginners, consisting of two-hour sessions, taking place one day a week over either six or eight weeks.

Dumbarton Library is hosting “Android smart Phones and Tablets for Absolute Beginners”, from Monday, April 23, 1.30pm to 3.30pm, and is also running a “Next Step in Computers” course as a next step up from Wednesday, April 25.

“Android Smart Phones and Tablets for Absolute Beginners” will also be held in Balloch Library from Wednesday April 25, 10am to 12pm, with a word processing course also available from Tuesday, April 24, 10am to 12pm.

Alexandria Library are also offering an “iPads for Absolute Beginners” course from Tuesday, April 24.
