A COMMUNITY Council have expressed their “serious” concerns over the increasing numbers of potholes springing up around the streets of Dumbarton.
This week Silverton and Overtoun Community Council, at their monthly meeting, raised the matter, which will be taken back to West Dunbartonshire Council on their behalf by Councillor Iain McLaren, who was present at the meeting.
Community Councillor Wilma Skinner said: “Greenhead Road is becoming particularly bad.
“And there are holes in Dumbarton Road that should a motorist hit one of them they will have a right good claim.”
Secretary Rose Harvie added: “Bonhill Road really needs attended to as a matter of urgency.”
