COUNCIL services in Alexandria will move to a new location in the town from next week.
A range of West Dunbartonshire Council services currently provided at the Mitchell Way will instead be offered to residents at Alexandria Library in nearby Gilmour Street from Tuesday, May 1.
Amended opening hours of 9.30am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday, will come into effect from the same date.
The services available at the library will include housing repairs, financial services, pest control service requests, online self-serve and online assisted card payment processing payments, waste management, free school meals and clothing grant applications, complaints/commendations and National Entitlement Card and Young Scot Card information and applications.
Housing services – including homelessness and housing options – will still be available at Mitchell Way, alongside some housing operations and Working4U Services.
Mitchell Way’s opening hours will also be changed from May 1, to Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4.30pm.
