Police in Dumbarton are appealing for information and anyone who may have dashcam footage following the death of a man on the A83 in Argyll.
The motorcyclist, who was aged 61, is said to have been travelling south near Lochgair at around 2.30pm on Saturday as part of a group when he was involved with a collision with an ambulance Emergency services attended, however the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sergeant Paul MacPherson from Police Scotland’s divisional road policing unit at Dumbarton said: “I would appeal to anyone who was on the A83 around the time of the crash and may have observed the motorcyclist, who had been travelling in a group, to please come forward.
“I would also ask any motorists with dash cams to get in touch as they may have footage of the incident of the vehicles travelling on the road beforehand.
“Anyone with information can contact the Divisional Road Policing Unit based at Dumbarton via 101, quoting incident number 2378 of Saturday 21 April 2018.”
