There’s just under a month left to go if you’re planning on getting involved with this year’s West Dunbartonshire Leisure Vale of Leven 10K.
Whether you want to challenge yourself to clock your best time yet on a 10K run, or have a crack at the distance for the first time, the scenic route, starting in the Moss O’Balloch Park and taking participants along the River Leven is a sure-fire way to do it in style.
The popular annual event is in its 32nd year, and will take place on Saturday, June 2 at 10am.
For keen younger runners looking for slightly shorter challenge, there will also be a Fun Run event - perfect for them to conquer .
The Fun Run starts on at 9am from the Moss O’Balloch site . Its finish line also positioned at the 10k finishing gantry, and is open to babies (in buggies) up to primary 7 aged children.
The postal deadline to register for the Vale of Leven 10K is May 14, with entrants still able to register online up to May 31.
However, to receive your race packs by post you must enter by 1pm on May 14. Sign up for the event at http://www.wdleisure-10k.net/
