A new video raising awareness of precautions against doorstep crime has been created by Police Scotland.
The 'Join the Front Line Against Doorstep Crime' footage forms part of Police Scotland’s ‘Operation Monarda’, raising awareness of doorstep crime to all householders.
The project is also encouraging the reporting of such incidents to the police and other relevant partner agencies who visit and support the elderly and vulnerable in their homes, such as Trading Standards, Crimestoppers and Citizens Advice.
It is aimed towards professionals who undertake these home visits to the elderly and vulnerable, providing more information on doorstep crime.
The video can be viewed here.
