The Armed Forces Day parade returned to West Dunbartonshire this year after taking a break in 2017.
The march took place in Clydebank on Saturday, before proceeding to the town hall for a special church service. Around 100 people turned out, both to take part in and watch the parade.
Colonel Bobby Steele, the armed forces liaison officer in charge of organising the event described it as “well worth it”.
He told the Reporter: “The weather stopped raining for about 20 minutes which was just as well because it was as long as it took us to march from A to B. It was a very good service.”
