The name for a new street in Alexandria was approved at West Dunbartonshire Council’s planning committee.
The road, forming part of a new housing estate in Alexandria, has been bestowed the name Dumbain Gardens.
The name was recommended for approval as being in keeping with the existing theme of the surrounding area, with the road providing a new access off the existing Dumbain Road.
Elected members of the Lomond ward, were all consulted, as well as Balloch and Haldane Community Council, before it came before the committee last week.
