A DUMBARTON shopping centre is hosting two free family fun days so that local people can make the most of the ‘sun-sational’ weather.
Artizan Shopping Centre on College Street is putting on a range of fun-filled festivities for those who may not be going away, but still want to feel like they’re on holiday.
This Wednesday, July 11, and again on Wednesday, July 25, the mall will house bouncy castles, a ball pool, craft sessions and more for the kids, while parents can enjoy a well earned rest.
There will also be a round of ‘Foot Pool’, a game of pool where the players use their feet to kick balls into pockets instead of cues, as well as supersized versions of other traditional games like Snakes and Ladders, Jenga and Connect Four.
To refuel after hours of energetic fun, there will be food stalls with soft drinks, cakes and sandwiches put on by local favourite Auntie’s Tea Room.
Stewart Gilmour, operations manager at the centre, said: “As well as the games and craft sessions, we’ll be running competitions on both days where visitors can win some top retailer prizes.
“We are really looking forward to welcoming people from across town and seeing them having a ball with us at the shopping centre.”
Both fun day sessions take place between 11am and 3pm, and entry is free.
