A MAN who wilfully damaged one car and tried to break into another in Dumbarton will be sentenced next month.
Stuart Davis, 40, committed the offences at Dumbarton High Street, on November 22, 2017.
Dumbarton Sheriff Court heard last Wednesday how he repeatedly struck and damaged a parked car and then repeatedly lifted the door handles of another car and attempted to force open the locked vehicle with the intent of stealing it.
Davis, of Onslow Road, Clydebank, was on two bail orders at the time, imposed on him on November 8 at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
Sheriff Maxwell Hendry deferred sentence until August 22, to obtain a report as to Davis’s suitability to be put on a Drug Treatment and Testing Order. Bail was continued.
