Man found with scissors faces sentencing this month
A MAN found with a pair of scissors in Dumbarton will be sentenced later this month.
Bryan Wood, 31, described in court papers as an inmate at Low Moss Prison, Bishopbriggs, was found with the bladed item in Milton Brae on March 1, 2017.
At the time he was on bail from Dumbarton Justice of the Peace Court, an order imposed on January 9, 2017.
Wood was not present in court on Friday, and his lawyer, Kenny McGowan, explained that Wood was currently on remand.
Sheriff Moira Macken-zie ordered that Wood be brought to court for sentencing on Wednesday, July 25.
