A VALE man has been locked up after he breached the terms of a community-based sentence.
Craig Wilson was handed a community payback order at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on May 24 after he admitted damaging the door of a flat in Alexandria’s Craig Avenue in April and head-butting a female police officer
At the same court on Friday, Sheriff John Hamilton was told that in committing the offence at the Craig Avenue flat, at 12.20am on April 3, 22-year-old Wilson had breached the terms of a curfew imposed as part of a bail order at the same court on December 18.
He also admitted breaching bail conditions imposed on him on December 13 and January 8.
On Friday, Sheriff John Hamilton told Wilson: “You were given the chance of a community payback order on May 24 and breached it.
“That will now be revoked and a prison sentenced imposed in its place.”
Wilson was jailed for six months.
