A Dumbarton charity is appealing for furniture donations following a bout of high demand in the area.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, this year, charity Home from Home have been able to give furniture to 48 low-income households in Dumbarton and the Vale.
However, there are currently another 14 awaiting essential items such as bed bases, mattresses, wardrobes, chests of drawers, sofas, small dining tables, coffee tables, microwaves, kettles and toasters.
The charity are hoping locals will show their generosity once more and donate any of the above items.
Items need to be in good, clean condition, with safety labelling where relevant. Those who want to help should contact 01389 733733, email enquiries@homefromhome.plus.com or head along to Home from Home’s charity shop and pre-owned furniture showroom in Dumbarton’s Broadmeadow Industrial Estate.
A free uplifting service is also available.
