A HEARTLESS thief who stole a charity box from a Dumbarton hotel reception will be sentenced later this month.
Dumbarton Sheriff Court heard last Wednesday how James Crawford, 40, stole the charity box and its contents from the Premier Inn, Lomondgate Drive, on January 20, 2016.
Crawford, of Lennox View, Clydebank, will be sentenced on August 17, by Sheriff William Gallacher.
Crawford failed to appear at court last week and sentence was deferred for his personal appearance.
