Dumbarton’s MSP and Hospitalwatch campaigners delivered a special 70th birthday card to the NHS at the Vale of Leven Hospital last week.
The card was signed by Dumbarton and Vale of Leven residents at a street stall held by MSP Jackie Baillie outside Asda, Dumbarton, over the NHS’s 70th birthday weekend.
Jim Moohan, Hospitalwatch’s chairman, said of the NHS and the Vale of Leven Hospital: “It’s the heart and soul of the community.”
Ms Baillie added: “Everyone who signed the card, young and old alike, had nothing but praise for our NHS staff and particularly singled out the Vale of Leven hospital for special mention.”
