He was caught in possession of heroin earlier this year
A VALE man who was snared with “a tenner bag” of heroin has been fined £65.
Dumbarton Sheriff Court heard on Friday how Robert Scott, 46, of McColl Avenue, Alexandria, was caught in possession of heroin on April 18. The offence happened at his home.
Lawyer Lauren Kerr said: “He has had his difficulties and has things under control. He is currently complying with a community payback order.”
Sheriff John Hamilton told Scott: “In the circumstances this was a small amount.”
He was ordered to pay the fine at £15 per fortnight.
