The popular Midnight League is set to get started again this Friday night, giving young footballers from Dumbarton and the Vale the chance to take part in a weekly kick about.
Taking place at Argyll Park in Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire boys and girls aged between 12 and 18 are welcome to the seven-a-side football sessions.
Youngsters of all abilities can get involved, and if they aren’t already in a team of seven they can still come along, whether it’s alone or in a smaller group, and be placed in a team.
And those who don’t want to participate but still want to be with their friends at a venue that is safe and supervised by adults from the council can also come along to enjoy themselves.
There is a zero-alcohol policy. Each session costs £1, running every Friday from 8pm to 10pm until October 19.
