People in Dumbarton are being asked to help solve the mystery of a missing cat which disappeared without trace six months ago.
The much-loved family pet, Vinny, went missing in Helensburgh and despite extensive searches in and around the town he has never been found.
Vinny’s owner Susan Donnelly, who is clinging to hope he is still alive, believes one possibility is he strayed into the Dumbarton area.
She said: “As any pet owner will know, this has caused me so much sadness and my daily thoughts are dominated by possibilities on what has happened to him. It is exhausting.”
Vinny is a three-year-old, neutered, male, brown-spotted Bengal cat with a blue collar.
