Roads have been closed and rail services in Dumbarton and the Vale have come to an abrupt halt as the West of Scotland feels the full force of Storm Ali.
The amber weather warning will remain in place until 5pm this evening with West Dunbartonshire police advising against all travel, unless completely necessary.
Earlier today, the bad weather caused a tree to fall at Dumbarton Central station, damaging overhead electric wires.
The high winds have also caused damage to overhead wires at Partick meaning no trains are currently able to run via the interchange.
As a result all services to and from Dumbarton Central, Dumbarton East, Dalreoch, Balloch, Alexandria and Balloch have been cancelled.

It is unclear when services will resume, but disruption is expected on lines which run through Partick until at least 8pm tonight.

Network Rail staff try to clear a fallen tree
Glasgow City Centre Helensburgh via Yoker: Glasgow, Charing Cross, Partick, Hyndland, Jordanhill, Scotstounhill, Garscadden, Yoker, Clydebank, Dalmuir, Kilpatrick, Bowling, Dumbarton East, Dalreoch, Cardross, Craigendoran, Helensburgh Central.

On the roads, Scotland TranServ are also working with Police Scotland to remove a fallen tree from the A82 near the Abbotsford Hotel in Dumbarton.
The A82 Kilbowie roundabout to Mountblow, Renton Road amd Bank Street, Alexandria are currently closed due to fallen trees and debris.
While, the Erskine Bridge is closed to high-sided vehicles.
