S3 Pupils from Vale of Leven Academy had great fun when they spent time with two local police officers on Friday.
PCs Melvin and Marshland showed the group around Dumbarton police station as part of their participation in the Award Scheme Development and Accreditation Network course.
Constable Tracy Melvin told the Reporter: “The visit was a great success and the pupils seemed to really enjoy the experience.
"As well as getting a tour of the cells and having their fingerprints taken, we gave the group a presentation about staying safe online which covered points such as the dangers of speaking to people they don’t know on games consoles and cyber bullying.”
A school spokeswoman added: “The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the visit and learned a great deal from PC Melvin, who was very supportive and spoke positively on pupils enthusiasm.”
