Haldane Youth Services held a frighteningly fun family Hallowe’en party on Saturday night - raising more than £600 for the organisation.

Around 120 parents and kids in fancy dress descended on the Vale Masonic for the event with its wooden interior and decorations providing the perfect venue for a spooktacular evening.

As well having the chance to eat, dance and be scary, party-goers took part in a monster walk, Frankenstein cake raffle and party games.

The prize for most creative outfit was won by Jack McVey, who was dressed as a fancy skeleton with a top hat, while the award for funniest costume went to Scott Walker pictured above as a Shrek sumo ballerina. Karis Russell won scariest outfit for her creepy clown costume.

Haldane are holding a Christmas Fair at St Kessog’s Church Hall on November 17. Tables are still available at £10. To book phone 01389 600367.
