Bonhill Primary have presented a cheque of £343 to Macmillan Cancer Support following a successful coffee morning at the school recently.
The event was organised by school volunteer and librarian Marjorie McGregor, who attended the presentation along with the over 50s keep-fit ladies, who run a class in the school.
Sat Bance, acting head teacher, said: “We had a fantastic morning that was very well attended and it was great to see the community coming together for such a great cause. In total £343 was raised for Macmillan, and the great work that this charity does was highlighted once again in the school. Well done to Marjorie who put so much work into organising the event.”
