A DISPLAY of First World War memorabilia will go on show at the Geilston Hall in Cardross this weekend.
The exhibition will show the part played by Army, Navy and Royal Flying Corps and will include letters from the trenches found in the archives from Geilston House, now held in the National Trust for Scotland’s collection in Edinburgh.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 2-4pm on Friday, November 9, and on Remembrance Sunday from 9.30-10.30am and after the parade at the village’s war memorial until 1.30pm.
If you have any photos, letters or medals from the Great War you’d like to see form part of the display, contact Patrick Trust to arrange collection and return.
